Faculty Participation

How Can Faculty Participate in Open Access?

  • Consider teaching students about open access, Creative Commons, Wikipedia, and other open resources.
  • Consider incorporating open educational resources (textbooks, journals, images, and more) into your teaching.
  • Consider encouraging or requiring your students to use open access resources for given assignments.
  • Consider sharing your papers and presentations online, maybe under a Creative Commons license.
  • Consider publishing in open access journals.
